The New Research Building is a three floor, 57,000 SF state-of-the-art biological research facility located in Bar Harbor, Maine, and adjacent to Acadia National Park. The project construction was phased with Nickerson & O’Day responsible for the structure, steel and interior fit-out including the entire project scheduling to completion. The building includes five major laboratory blocks containing 20 complete labs and associated office space for research activities.
