Eleven years after completing the successful 1992 addition to this full-care nursing home, owner Sandy River Group again turned to Nickerson & O’Day. This time the challenge was much greater.
In order to renovate this 26,000 SF facility without impacting operations, NOD broke the job down into six phases. Work included adding 20 beds, structural repairs to the roof, renovating the kitchen and replacing the main nurses’ station. All this was done without displacing a single resident (100% beds billed), kitchen shutdowns, or loss of nursing services. This project was completed on time and on budget.
