Nickerson & O’Day worked with TAC Architectural Group and WBRC to construct this 8000 SF wellness center for the Aroostook Band of Micmac Indians. The footprint of the structure is shaped like an eagle, an animal which holds particular significance for the tribe.
In addition to funding obtained by the tribe, additional funding was obtained by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs.
