Built from the remains of two churches destroyed in The Great Bangor Fire of 1912, the Steve Masonry All Souls Congregational Church strikes an impressive pose in downtown Bangor.
The church selected NOD to perform the difficult task of shoring up the existing structure to prevent its settlement, the excavating down 30′ to the street below to construct an architecturally matching elevator shaft, stairwell and connection to the adjacent Baille Building.
Renovations included a new kitchen and dining area. The addition tied the administrative wing to the main church and created a “gathering room” with tubular stained-glass skylights.
