Encompassing the largest land area of any Boy Scout Council east of the Mississippi and serving over 5000 Scouts in eastern & northern Maine, the Katahdin Area Boy Scout Council turned to Nickerson & O’Day, Inc., to build its new headquarters building.
Built for nearly 40% less than budget, this effort was a triumph of collaboration where Nickerson & O’Day solicited and coordinated significant regional and community support for this impressive structure. With a large stone fireplace and a cathedral ceiling/window wall at the Scout store, it functions as a perfect setting for Scouting events.
