Nickerson & O’Day is proud to be the contractor of choice for Acadia Hospital. After successfully bidding this 5500 SF addition to an active psychiatric & substance abuse treatment facility, Nickerson & O’Day completed the work through winter conditions to finish on time and under budget. Working in close proximity to staff and patients requires special considerations. Noise and disruptions must be kept to a minimum. Tools and equipment must always be secured. Isolation of the work site, safety of staff, and patients working within lay-down area and minimal disruption to ongoing operations were keys to our success.
