Down East Community Hospital is a 25-bed acute care facility that offers state-of-the-art technology and specialty services almost unheard of in a small rural hospital.
Built in 13 months while maintaining operations, this new 4500 SF Emergency Department Addition was phased to limit the impact to daily operations. Infection control is of particular concern on a project of this nature. State-of-the-art modifications to the MRI and med-gas systems were incorporated into this new addition.
